Our Summer Camp Program is the perfect option to help improve communication and social skills over the long summer months for children ages two to rising third grade. Students are grouped into classes according to their birthday, with a maximum of twelve students and at least three staff members. Staff members consist of certified speech-language pathologists, certified resource teachers, graduate and undergraduate interns.
We use a structured schedule that combines language development with literacy, music, science, movement and fun! Weekly themes such as farming, transportation, bugs, jungles or oceans are integrated into all daily activities. The theme is carried throughout all elements of the daily schedule including literacy, snack, centers, music, language development, and outside play. Accommodations such as visual cues and graphic organizers help children better understand information in order to participate in the curriculum.
Our unique partnership with 20-30 college interns each summer allows us to offer an incredibly low staff to student ratio, allowing us to more individually assist children with different learning needs and styles. The competitive admission process for interning brings top students from all over the US to mutually learn and grow with your children.
